Largest Neurodiversity Umbrella Installation Comes to Milton Keynes
Today, some of our team took a stroll through Midsummer Place to witness the breathtaking sight of nearly 400 colourful umbrellas suspended overhead as part of The Umbrella Project!
This vibrant installation isn’t just visually striking; it carries a powerful message. Each umbrella represents the diversity of neurodivergent experiences, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more. By showcasing these colours, The Umbrella Project aims to foster greater awareness, acceptance, and celebration of neurodiversity.
Since 2019, the ADHD Foundation has brought these stunning umbrella displays to cities across the UK. The installations transform public spaces into uplifting symbols of inclusion and understanding. Now, in 2025, this incredible initiative has made its way to Milton Keynes!
By supporting The Umbrella Project, Milton Keynes is positioning itself as a city that champions neurodiversity, creating a more inclusive environment for everyone.
If you haven’t seen the installation yet, we highly recommend taking a walk through Midsummer Place!
