Tree Planting 2025 🌳
Continuing our Greener Benchmark Scheme and planting one tree for every new project we are instructed on, we spent a rewarding Friday morning with the Forest of Marston Vale, planting trees at a site in Silsoe.
This was our second corporate planting event with the Forest of Marston Vale, and we were lucky with the weather - plenty of sunshine and soft ground from earlier rain, making it perfect for digging. Of course, that also meant plenty of muddy boots by the end of the session!
In just two hours, we planted an incredible 200 trees of mixed species, including Scots pine, alder, oak, wild cherry, birch, rowan, and hornbeam. Looking back at the newly planted trees, we felt a real sense of achievement - a visible impact in just a morning’s work.
After our hard work, we headed back to the Forest Centre to enjoy a well-earned lunch and reflect on a fantastic day of sustainability in action.
